Question 1

What is an agent skill?

Accepted Answer

A set of instructions your AI assistant follows to do one job well, such as writing an SEO article or a LinkedIn post. Most skills are files that never change. On Agent Ammo an expert writes the first version and your project's copy keeps improving from your own use.

Question 2

Which agents does it work with?

Accepted Answer

Claude (desktop and claude.ai), ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Claude Code and any assistant that speaks MCP. Each project page gives you one link or one command for your tool, and tells you the moment your assistant reaches the skill.

Question 3

How does it learn?

Accepted Answer

Your assistant reports what it wrote and what you finally used. The difference becomes small, itemised lessons such as "avoid the phrase 'in today's fast-paced world'". New lessons run as trials in about half of your drafts and are kept only if they help.

Question 4

Does it use my analytics?

Accepted Answer

Only if you connect them, and only read-only. Each skill lists the apps it works with, such as Search Console, Google Analytics or LinkedIn, and says which are needed. Connected data shows the skill which of its outputs actually performed, and lets your agent use your real numbers while it works.

Question 5

Can it get worse over time?

Accepted Answer

Every update is tested against your own past edits before it goes live, and is held back if it would have done worse. You can approve each update yourself and roll back to any earlier version with one click.

Question 6

Does my data help other customers?

Accepted Answer

Your skill learns only from your projects. By default, an abstract lesson that at least three different customers learned independently can be offered to similar projects as a trial, after the skill's author approves it. Quotes, facts and links never leave your workspace, and you can mark any project private.

Question 7

Can I take my skill with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each project's skill, with its lessons and history, exports as JSON at any time. Full texts are kept for 180 days; you can delete a project and its data whenever you like.
